ABOUT THE EVENT

"MAKEBOT CODINGBEE" World Championship is the first of its kind competition where student’s learning is driven by innovation in coding. It provides an opportunity to every child where he/she can create an innovative app prototype and pitch their idea directly to world’s largest tech companies through this platform.

MAKEBOT CODINGBEE World Championship is the perfect platform to become an inspiration to the world. Idea behind the competition is to fuel innovation of every child and expose them towards new age learning through technology & coding. Students can learn, innovate and become inspiration of many others like them by showcasing their skills.

HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS ?

Participating students to work on their app idea and build working prototype of app on any coding language of their choice
Students will be shortlisted through qualifier and finally in championship rounds based on their app idea & coding skills
MAKEBOT CODINGBEE share Champions' ideas, prototype with tech companies for further shortlisting
Selected student gets an opportunity to pitch their ideas directly to tech companies and win scholarships, internships & royalty

A specially designed online portal for students full of free information content that help them coding. Take up Makebot's live coding, classes for the most enhanced learning experience that shall definitely help you prepare for not just the championship but also for the future.

ATTEND WORKSHOPS
(Dec 2020 - May 2021)

These free workshops are specially curated by industry experts who will take specific/ important topics for discussion with students. Students can also request/ask doubts during these workshops.

Qualifier Stage (June 2021)

This will be a basic MCQ level round to screen participants for championship round. Questions will be based on coding language selected by student during registration.

Fight to be The Ultimate Champion (July 2021)

Project based round where students need to submit their app idea and working prototype of the app. Winners will be decided based on uniqueness of idea, functioning of prototype, feasibility, scalability and effectiveness of app in real world

RULES


CodingBee Rules  

  1. One account per student is valid. Student, If found having multiple accounts will be immediately barred from MAKEBOT CODINGBEE.
  2. Students have to submit all the correct information while creating their profile, any discrepancies may result in disqualification.
  3. Students from any school/education board can participate in this championship.
  4. Students have to enter their current grade at the time of registration.
  5. Students have to participate in qualifying round and only shortlisted students will go to championship round.
  6. Qualifying round - consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs), in a time bound manner.
  7. During qualifying round, if any student is found cheating, taking any assistance, or doing any malpractice, the student will be disqualified from competition.
  8. Championship round – require project submission where shortlisted students from qualifying round have to submit their app prototype and ideation document (template will be provided) before a particular timeline through MAKEBOT CODINGBEE portal.
  9. Innovation Board – Only winners of Championship round will become members and get an opportunity to pitch their app idea and showcase prototype to tech companies.
  10. Tech companies may offer scholarships/royalty at their own discretion and MAKEBOT CODINGBEE has no influence on same.
