CodingBee Rules  

  1. Single free registration with one account is valid for each student. A student, if found having multiple accounts will be immediately barred from Times of India presents CodingBee - India's Coding Heroes, powered by Makebot.
  2. Students have to submit all the correct information while creating their profile. Any discrepancies may result in disqualification.
  3. Students from any school/education board can participate in this championship.
  4. Students from grade 3 to 12 can participate in this competition.
  5. During registration, the student will fill in details and choose any one coding language (options mentioned), using which they have to do their submissions.
  6. Students have to enter their current grade at the time of registration.
  7. Students have to participate in the MCQ round, a percentage of which will be considered during final evaluation.
  8. During MCQ round, if any student is found cheating, taking any assistance, or doing any malpractice, the student will be disqualified from competition.
  9. Team Formation-After the MCQ round, students will have to register their team within a stipulated time frame.
    • Students can form a team with their fellow school mates, with students from any other school in the country.
    • If team registration doesn’t happen within a stipulated time, students will be randomly given teams.
  10. Mentorship - Post the MCQ round, Students will be given their teams and a mentor will be assigned to the team, who will guide his team till the app submission , i.e Championship round
  11. Championship round – requires project submission, where students have to submit their app prototype and ideation document (template will be provided) before a particular deadline through Times of India presents CodingBee - India's Coding Heroes, powered by Makebot portal.
  12. Finale: The best 8 teams from the 4 zones will be competing on a live digital setup and accomplish the different on the spot assignments given to the team
